JAPAN-PORTUGAL ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP
The Japanese Embassy in Portugal, together with the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organize yearly a study trip for European youth. The selection process is through writing an essay on a Japanese-Portuguese topic, and several interviews. In the summer of 2006 I was lucky enough to be selected for the Portuguese committee, and joined all other European youngsters in a incomparable journey.
